Hoya iMics
The new HOYA Surgival Optics iMics 1 is a monoblock, a-spherical Micro-Incision IOL, with a superior polished optical surface. According to the lates studies, HOYA iMics 1 has the sharpest square edge in the global intraocular lens market.
The HOYA iMics 1 intraoclar lens consists of hydrophobic acrylic material with the new unique and innovative PMMA haptic-optic protectors.
This PMMA haptic-optic protectors ensure that the haptics never stick to the optic nor damage the optic with the unfolding of the IOL during the surgery. Also, these ends makes the lens perfectly centered and stabilized in the eye.
The HOYA iMics 1 is also preloaded available from January 2011.

Hoya iSert
The i-Sert, a preloaded injectable hydrophobic acrylic I.O.L. This lens does not only block the UV-light, but also a part of the visible shortwave light. The I.O.L. is injectable through a 2,5 mm (or even smaller) incision.
The lens has the following properties:
- A-spherical, hydrophobic, acrylic preloaded I.O.L.
- Single piece
- 360 degrees square edge
- Round loop model (als for sulcus placement)
